JL Greer is an Oklahoma author whose roots run deep in the small-town charm of places like Silver Lake, the fictional setting of his debut novella, The Replacement. A Tulsa-area native, he lives with his wife, daughter, a Himalayan cat, and a revolving cast of human strays.

 As a student at Oklahoma State University, he earned early recognition for his award-winning short story, Mystique, displaying his knack for blending heart and horror. By day, he masquerades as an IT professional, but under the cover of night, he becomes a vigilante, rescuing empty pages from a plotless fate.
